October 30, 2020: Chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Friday reviewed progress of various schemes in a meeting with senior officials in Lakhimpur.

The CM directed officials to conduct a hydrological survey of Subansiri river to find permanent and scientific solutions to mitigate flood & erosion in the district.

He also asked officials to prepare a comprehensive report on the overall Covid-19 situation in Lakhimpur and continuously monitor works to ensure prompt and quality implementation of schemes.
