September 11, 2020: The death toll in Covid-19 surpassed 400-mark in Assam on Thursday with 18 more deaths reported.
Health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma condoled the demise 18 persons in Covid 19.
The total Covid-19 cases in the state rose to 1,35,805 as 2739 fresh cases were reported on Thursday. The spike in Kamrup Metro continued with new 646 positive cases. Among other districts, Lakhimpur- 259, Dibrugarh- 199 and Jorhat recorded 177 cases.
2197 patients were discharged on Thursday leaving the total cured patient at 1,05,701 and 29,687 active patients.
Altogether 35,369 tests were done in last 24 hours with a positivity rate of 7.74%.
