November 2, 2020: Good news for the economy of Assam. After a lull in economic activities due to the lockdown, the state's economy is gradually picking up the pace.

The state has registered GST revenue growth of 41.21 % in October 2020.

The GST collection for October has gone up to Rs 912.80 Cr against Rs 646.40 Cr in October 2019.

Sharing the information on Twitter, finance minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma said "Its huge" while tagging finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
