July 19, 2020: With 1117 new COVID-19 positive cases detected on Saturday, the COVID-19 tally in Assam has reached up to 22981.

Currently there are 7760 active cases in the state and 15165 of them have recovered successfully.

On the other hand, the death toll has risen to 53 in the state.

Informing this Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted,” Alert ~ 1117 new #COVID19 ve+ patients in Assam today, with 515 cases from Guwahati City alone.
