May 18, 2020: The numbers of COVID-19 cases in Assam have risen to 104 as two more persons tested positive on Monday.

Informing this State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, "Alert ~ Two persons have tested #COVID19 in Golaghat.

Total cases 104

Recovered 41

Active cases 58

Deaths 3

Migrated 2

Earlier the day two cases were reported from Jorhat and Nagaon who are currently quarantined.

Till now positive cases for COVID-19 have been reported so far from Golaghat, Nalbari, Morigaon, Goalpara, Dhubri, South Salmara, Kamrup (Metro), Kamrup, Karimganj, Lakhimpur, Cachar, Hailakandi, Nagaon, Bongaigaon, Jorhat and Sonitpur district.
