July 26, 2020: The COVID-19 cases in Assam have crossed 31000 mark with 1165 new positive cases on Saturday.

Reportedly, out of new cases, 353 were detected from Guwahati and 100 from Golaghat.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the state now stands at 31086 - out of which 7951 are active cases whereas 23055 have been recovered.  Meanwhile, the death toll has rose up to 77.

Informing this Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, Alert ~ 1165 new #COVID19 cases detected in Assam today, with 353 incidents recorded from Guwahati and 100 from Golaghat
