July 06, 2020: The number of total COVID-19 cases in Assam has risen to 11736 as 735 new positive cases were detected on Sunday.
Out the total cases, currently there are 4286 active cases in the state whereas 7433 of them have recovered and three have migrated. 
Meanwhile the death toll due to the virus stands at 14 in the state.
Informing this State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted,” Alert ~ 735 new #COVID+ cases detected today, out of which 552 from Guwahati City alone.

It may be stated that Guwahati is currently under 14-day lockdown whereas the other region of the state undergo lockdown on weekends.
