July 2, 2022: Assamese model, actor and dancer Kishore Das who was battling cancer for a long time passed away today in a Chennai hospital. He was only 28.
His mother was by his bedside, a close family friend said.
The actor who hails from Palasbari in Assam, has been battling cancer for over a year. He had gone to Mumbai first for his treatment and then to Chennai.
His last movie “Dada Tumi Dusto Bor” directed by Samir Buragohain was released on 24th June and is still playing in cinema halls. He was known for his roles in television serials like Nedekha Fagun.
He had worked with many popular singers like Zubeen Garg, Deeplina Deka, Neelakshi Neog, Rakesh Reeyan in their music videos.
Popular Assam singer Zubeen Garg had also helped actor Das get the best treatment.
