IPL has done away with the Saturday double-headers, thereby adding another week to the league phase for the 2020 season, only six double-headers have been scheduled - all for the Sundays.
The league phase ends on May 17 - stretching across 50 days this season as compared to 44 last year. Royal Challengers Bangalore will be taking on Mumbai at home in the last league game. The schedule of the knockouts is yet to be announced.
Barring Rajasthan Royals, who have listed out Guwahati as their probable second home venue, the other seven franchises have stuck to their traditional venues for home games.
Despite the Lodha committee recommendation of a fortnight's break between India's last international game and the IPL curtain-raiser, the tournament starts only 11 days after the conclusion of the three-match ODI series against South Africa in Kolkata on March 18.
