October 19, 2024: In a shocking incident in Tanduldih village, two brothers were found dead under mysterious circumstances while four other family members were hospitalized after performing rituals over the past few days. The victims have been identified as Vikas Gond (25) and Vicky Gond (22).
According to the Additional Superintendent of Police, Rama Patel, the family was engaged in rituals when neighbors became concerned upon hearing loud chanting coming from their locked home. Responding to the alarm, police discovered the brothers unconscious, surrounded by family members still in the midst of the rituals. A photo of a 'godman' from Ujjain was reportedly positioned in front of them.
Both brothers were rushed to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead. Their mother, Pirit Bai (70), along with their sisters, Chandrika and Amrika, and another brother, Vishal, are currently receiving medical treatment.
Preliminary autopsy reports indicated the presence of a poisonous substance in the brothers' bodies, though the exact cause of death is still under investigation.
