November 11,2022: An encounter broke out in Karpen area of Jammu-Kashmir’s Shopian on Friday morning. One Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist was gunned down during a joint operation by Jammu Kashmir police and Indian army.
The Kashmir police tweeted “Encounter has started in Karpen area of Shopian. Police and army are on the job”. The ADGP Kashmir said “One member of JeM terror outfit killed, identified as Kamran Bhai alias Hanees who was active in Kulgam-Shopian area. Search is still going on”.
