The date, chosen in consultation with saints and in accordance with the Hindu calendar, is known as Paush Shukla Dwadashi. This day has been designated as Pratishtha Dwadashi, a day that will be observed annually going forward in honor of the temple’s consecration.
This year's celebrations also included a special event on the first floor of the temple, where the Pran-Pratishtha of the Ram Darbar was performed. The temple now houses 4.5-foot-tall marble idols of Lord Ram, Mata Sita, Lord Hanuman, and Lord Ram's brothers – Bharat, Lakshman, and Shatrughan.
