August 9, 2021: Amid the ongoing War on Drugs, Guwahati Police on Sunday arrested six drug peddlers and seized12 vials of Heroin, 114 bottles of cough syrup and one SUV from their possession during raids were conducted by Jalukbari and Geetnagar Police Station.
