January 25, 2021: Industries and Commerce Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary has condoled the demise of eminent Assamese playwright Sewabrata Baruah.
In a condolence statement the Minister said, ‘Sewabrata Baruah was a veteran Assamese playwright and his contribution to mobile theatre in particular and Assamese theatre in general will be remembered by generations. His demise is an irreparable loss.’
The Minister also extended his condolences to members of the bereaved family and prayed to the Almighty for eternal peace of the departed soul.
