April 25, 2022: Students of Handique Girls College, a premier girls’ college of Guwahati, staged protest outside the College today, April 25, against the re-appointment of a professor who was suspended for allegedly sending offensive messages and trying to molest students of the College.
The incidents took place couple of years back.
Students are now protesting, strongly opposing the re-appointment of the senior faculty.
