April 28, 2022: Within days of having won the Guwahati Municipal Corporation elections, Snigdha Daimary of BJP was seen cleaning the walls of Ward 28, the ward she won from. Councillor Daimary was seen pulling out the posters that had defaced the walls of the ward. She personally scrapped the walls clean.
Daimary is among the 58 BJP candidates who won the GMC polls held on April 22 this year.
