September 21, 2022: A 60-year-old woman was found dead in a rehabilitation centre named Faith Foundation Centre at Kharghuli Hills in Guwahati, Assam on Wednesday morning.
The woman has been identified as Girija Medhi and is a resident of Bijni.
Reportedly, she was found hanging in one of the rooms and it is suspected that she may have committed suicide.
According to the caretaker, the woman was found hanging in the wee hours of Wednesday morning. She was suffering from depression, and therefore she was brought to the rehabilitation centre one month ago.
