November 21, 2022: A firing incident has been reported near Panjabari road in Guwahati, Assam on Monday after some bike-borne miscreants opened fire at a businessman named Ranjit Bora.
Ranjit Bora was a distributor of Purabi Dairy.
The incident took place when the deceased Ranjit Bora was on his way to the bank to deposit money in his car following which two bike-borne miscreants opened fire on his head.
He was immediately taken to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Guwahati but declared dead by the doctor.
Reportedly, the miscreants fled from the scene.
