March 10, 2023: Assam Police on Friday arrested the accused Sachin Bordoloi who allegedly killed his one-year-old son at Sonalibari in the Sonitpur district of Assam. The deceased was identified as Paragjyoti Bordoloi.
According to the deceased’s mother, her husband on Wednesday evening gone out along with the son to do birthday shopping on the cycle. But stepping out for hours, they didn’t return home.
Later on the next day, some local people noticed that the child’s body was found lying on a paddy field. The cycle was also lying near the body.
Police officials said that the accused fled away immediately from the crime scene and went to Simen Chapori by train. Sachin committed the crime due to some internal conflicts in the family.
