May 18, 2021: Mizoram reported 239 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours, pushing the state's tally to 9,068, an official statement said.

The state has now 2108 active cases and 6932 patients have fully recovered and discharged so far.

With two new death cases, the state COVID-19 death toll has mounted to 28.

According to the data released by state Information and Public Relations department, 5 cases were confirmed through TrueNat test, 35 cases were confirmed through ZMC RT-PCR test, and 199 were detected through Rapid Antigen Test.

Aizawl reported the highest number with 1578 active COVID-19 cases.
