August 19, 2020: Arunachal witnessed its highest single-day Covid-19 cases on Tuesday. The state recorded total 133 positive cases.

Among these cases, 65 cases were reported from Daporijo alone. The numbers increased as the district administration intensified testing in the town. Of the 133 cases, 13 are asymptomatic.

Among other districts, West Kameng-22, Itanagar-16, Tirap -5, Changlang-6, Tawang-3, Shi-Yomi-2, East Kameng-1, Seppa-1, Papum Pare-2, Leparada-1, Siang-1, West Siang-1, Namsai-1 and East Siang-1.
