Aug 10, 2020: Tripura's Covid death toll increased to 41 with 4 more deaths reported on Sunday. The deceased include two BSF personnel. 147 fresh cases were reported on Sunday, taking the tally of cases to 6,164. Of the 4, three were from Khowai district and one from West Tripura.

Two BSF personnel and a woman who succumbed on Sunday were undergoing treatment in the Agartala Government Medical College. Altogether, 700 BSF jawans have been infected in Tripura so far.

The recovery rate in the state currently stands at 67.74 per cent, while the mortality rate is at 0.66 per cent.
