His physician Sean Conley said that Mr Trump “remains fatigued but in good spirits” as of Friday afternoon, while his wife Melania, who also tested positive for Covid-19, remained well with only a mild cough and headache.



The White House physician has said that the US President is undergoing Remdesivir therapy and is doing well.



Officials said he would remain in the hospital for several days and has cancelled his upcoming campaign events.

Taking to Twitter, the President has shared a video where he said that he is “doing very well” and thanked people for their support.
