October 18, 2020: Late veteran actor Om Puri, on his 70th birth anniversary today, his family, friends and fans have remember him who was as humble as he was gifted.

Om Puri’s wife Nandita and son Ishaan have launched a YouTube channel in memory of the late actor and they picked his birth anniversary to announce the news. On his 70th birth anniversary, his family released a video on their channel ‘Puri Baatein’.

From being a helper at a tea stall at the age of six to pursuing his passion for acting and his experience at the National School of Drama – this first video of Puri Baatein gives an amazing glimpse of Om Puri’s journey.

The actor was born on October 18, 1950, in Punjab. He was known for his performance in hits like ‘Ardh Satya ‘, ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro’, and ‘Aakrosh’ to name a few. Om Puri passed away on January 6, 2017, in Mumbai.
