March 22, 2021: As flash floods hit Australia's New South Wales, a couple was left devastated after their house was washed away on what was going to be their wedding day.

The cottage which used to stand adjacent to the Manning River was lifted from its foundation and was seen moving down the river as raging flood waters wreaked havoc.

Lyle Edge said his brother's house washed away where he used to live with his partner. They should have been getting married on Saturday. Instead they’ve been left homeless and their pets are dead, 7News reported.

The couple's GoFundMe campaign reads: "On 20 March our brother Joshua and his fiancé Sarah lost their entire home and belongings to the flood waters in Mondrook NSW on the mid north coast."

"What was suppose [sic] to be their wedding day ended up with their house floating down river and them losing everything they have worked hard for and sadly losing their pets as well," it said.

"We are trying to raise money to help them start again, anything would be much appreciated."
