November 22, 2020: Artist Zubeen Garg on Saturday night reached the Guwahati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) to visit former chief minister Tarun Gogoi.

Zubeen Garg reached GMCH at 1.30 AM. After the visit, he said that Gogoi's condition was critical and prayed for his recovery. Reminiscing his memories with Gogoi, he said Gogoi loves him a lot. "Whenever we met, we talked about various matters. But we never discussed politics. I don’t consider him as a politician, but a very kind human being."

AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal reached GMCH from Goalpara at midnight. He was seen turning emotional while coming out and prayed for speedy recovery.

Assam Pradesh Congress Committee president Ripun Bora said that doctors are regularly monitoring his health and prayed to God for speedy recovery.

Former minister Rockybul Hussain and MP Abdul Khaleque were among those who visited the GMCH at night.
