June 25, 2020: With 16,922 fresh cases, India has registered the highest single-day spike of coronavirus, taking total cases to 4, 73,105 on Thursday.



According to the Health Ministry, there are 1, 86,514 active cases in the country while 2, 71,697 have recovered so far. The death toll rose to 14,907 with 418 new fatalities. Meanwhile, 13,012 recoveries were recorded in the last 24 hours.

Maharashtra, Delhi and Tamil Nadu continue to remain the worst affected states with COVID-19 in the country.
