Aug 6, 2020: Chief of Indian Army Gen Manoj Mukund Naravane is on a visit to Tezpur-based 4 Corps.

ANI reports that the army chief reached the Gajaraj Corps Head Quarters in Tezpur on Thursday.

During the visit, he will review the security situation along the China border.

Senior military officers will brief him on the existing situation and Indian Army deployments to tackle the situation.

This is the first visit of the army chief after the recent clash between Indian and Chinese troops in Galwan.
