July 9, 2020: Three new COVID-19 cases detected in Nagaland on Thursday, according to the State Health Minister's data.

As per reports, 291 samples were tested on July 9, out of which three fresh positive cases were confirmed in Phek district.

Taking to Twitter Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom tweeted, "Update! Out of 291 samples tested, 3 fresh positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed. All cases are in Phek.

Total State status as of 9: 00 AM, 9th July, 2020.

Positive       : 660

Active          : 356

Recovered  : 304"

There are 356 active cases in the state and so far 304 patients have been recovered.
