August 11, 2020: The NSCN (IM) on Monday held an informal meeting with the representatives of Government of India in New Delhi.

August 11, 2020: The NSCN (IM) on Monday held an informal meeting with the representatives of Government of India in New Delhi. The meeting is said to be held in a cordial manner. While the Government side was represented by Intelligence Bureau additional director A.K. Mishra and joint director (North East) M.S. Tully, the NSCN (I-M) delegation was led by its general secretary Th. Muivah.





Meanwhile, Nagaland Governor and Centre’s Interlocutor R.N. Ravi also reached Delhi on Monday and is scheduled to meet the NSCN (I-M) leaders soon. Both sides are likely to meet on a daily basis after Independence Day.

Apart from the Muivah, who is also the chief negotiator, nine senior members who are part of the NSCN-IM's talk team, were also present at the meeting. The NSCN (IM)’s Collective Leadership reached Delhi on August 7 where Muivah joined the team. A team of the Naga Hoho is also likely to leave for Delhi next week.
