July 26, 2020: Arunachal Government has ruled out imposing further lockdown in Itanagar.



State Health Secretary P Parthiban hoped that with the situation improving, the capital city may not need another lockdown.



In his daily press briefings, Parthiban said that the source of transmission has been identified. "Let’s hope we will not be having another lockdown.”



He however said that the final decision may be taken after considering the ground situation later.

Meanwhile, there has been tension at Bandardewa after the Arunachal Pradesh govt sent back 6 truck drivers from Assam after they were tested positive.
