July 9, 2020: Meghalaya has reported three new positive cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, taking total active cases to 57.

July 9, 2020: Meghalaya has reported three new positive cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, taking total active cases to 57.



Reportedly,  out of three new cases, one was detected from Shillong BSF and two were returnees from Bihar and Delhi.



Informing this Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma tweeted, "3 more tested positive for COVID19 in Shillong. 1 from BSF and 2 returnees from Bihar and Delhi.

There are total of 57 active cases in the state whereas 45 patients have been recovered. So far one person has lost his life due to the novel coronavirus.
