October 24, 2020: The Anti-Corruption Bureau of the CBI raided the residence of a Senior Accounts Officer at AG Office Manipur and seized more than Rs 87 lakh worth assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

A team of the CBI ACB Imphal Branch led by its SP, Khamrang started the raid early morning at around 4 at the residence of Senior Accounts Officer, Konjengbam Ibothem at Sagolband Meino Leirak.

Cash amounting to Rs 54,45,930, jewellery worth Rs 32,89,000, as many as 127 ATM cards, 183 Pass Books, 129 Cheque Books and 130 Pension Books were seized.
