August 1, 2020: The total Covid cases in Arunachal increased to 1588 on Friday with 107 fresh cases on Friday.

This is the highest single-day spike in the state so far. Of these, 38 cases were from Changlang and 22 from Itanagar.

With this, the total number of active cases increased to 670. Out of the fresh cases, 3 are symptomatic.

Altogether 4,235 people were tested on Friday.

So far 918 patients were discharged from various hospitals.
