Huge amount of ganja seized in Silapathar, Dhemaji

September 11, 2018: In a joint operation carried out by police and CRPF personnel, a huge amount of ganja has been seized in Silapthar, Dhemaji on Monday night.
Reportedly, the ganja was recovered in the house of one man called Dhaniram Baruwoti of Silapathar’s Xomobai village. It may be mentioned that nine large plastic bags filled with ganja were recovered at his place.
According to sources, he used to sell the ganja in Likabali path.
Currently in police custody, Dhaniram is being interrogated.
