July 11, 2020: The number of COVID-19 cases has crossed 15000 mark in Assam with 936 new cases detected on Friday.

Out of 936 new positive cases, 521 cases are from Guwahati alone.

Till now in Assam, 5650 cases are active and 9848 cases have recovered successfully. The death toll has risen to 35 in the state.

Taking to the Twitter Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed, “Alert ~ 936 new #COVID ve+ cases in Assam, 521 in Guwahati alone.

Times are trying, indeed. With vigilance, precautions & care, we shall overcome.
