August 1, 2020: An Army personnel lost his life in ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Rajouri sector of Poonch on Saturday.

Sepoy Rohin Kumar lost his life in ceasefire violation by Pakistan along the Line of Control.

Pakistan resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation on the Line of Control in Rajouri Sector. Indian troops responded strongly to enemy fire. In the incident, Kumar was critically injured and later succumbed to his injuries.

"Sepoy Rohin Kumar was a brave, highly motivated and a sincere soldier. The nation will always remain indebted to him for his supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty," Indian Army said in a statement.
