Aug 10, 2020: Rebel Congress leader from Rajasthan Sachin Pilot on Monday met Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. His sister Priyanka Gandhi was also present during the meeting. This is seen as a move towards finding a solution to the present crisis.

During the meeting, the former Rajasthan deputy chief minister is said to have reiterated that he was never joining BJP. MLAs close to pilot said that they are in touch with Congress leadership and the party has assured that issues related to Rajasthan political situation will be resolved soon.

This is for the first time that Pilot has met the Congress leadership in Delhi since the Rajasthan rebellion broke out. Both sides look for an ‘honourable’ compromise ahead of the assembly session.
