June 11, 2020:  India reports 9,996 COVID-19 cases with 357 deaths in last 24 hours, according to the latest data released by the Health Ministry on Thursday. The total number of COVID-19 cases increased to 2,86,579 including 1,37,448 active cases.
The total number of global corona virus cases has surpassed 7.4 million, including more than 418,000 fatalities. More than 3,73,000 patients have been successfully recovered.
On Wednesday, Mumbai's total COVID -19 cases rose to 52,667 with the death toll in the financial capital at 1,857. The total corona virus cases in Maharashtra also rose by 3,254 cases, take in the state tally to 94,041 where recovery rate in the state is 47.34% and case fatality rate in the state is 3.65%.
As many as 110 more people, including five doctors, tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha on Wednesday, raising the state's tally to 3,250.
The corona virus pandemic was "worsening" across the world.
