June 24, 2020: The number of coronavirus cases in India has increased to 4, 56,182 on Wednesday with 15,968 fresh cases. This is the biggest one day jump cases in 24 hours.

The death toll in the country went up to 14,476 with 28 states and Union Territories reporting deaths.

According to figures released today morning, there were 1, 83,022 active cases in the country while 2, 58,684 have recovered so far.

Maharashtra remains the worst affected state, followed by Delhi and Tamil Nadu, both with over 60,000 cases.
