October 17, 2020: Actress Kangna Ranaut is in fresh trouble as another court orders FIR against her. An FIR has been filed against both Kangana and her sister Rangoli Chandel for supposedly spreading ‘communal hatred’ through their tweets and interviews. Mumbai's Bandra court has ordered that an FIR be filed against the two following a petition in the court alleging Kangana's tweet as provocative.



The complaint in the matter was reportedly filed by two individuals called Munnawar Ali and Sahil Ashraf Syed. The complaint was filed by casting director Munnawar Ali in the Bandra court saying that the two have been spreading ‘communal hatred’ and ‘dividing people into Hindu and Muslims’.



Reportedly, the charges against Kangana Ranaut include sedition and blasphemy. The FIR has been filed under various sections included 295A, 153A, 124, and 34 of IPC.



The complainant had accused Kangana of creating a social divide between Hindu and Muslim artists via her tweets and interviews to channels.

Agreeing with the complainant, the court says “Prima facie on perusal of the complaint and submissions I found a cognizable offence has been committed by the accused….A thorough investigation isis necessary by an expert.”



Earlier this week, the actor was booked by Karnataka police over her tweet allegedly targeting farmers protesting against contentious central farm laws. The case was registered under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections, including 108 ?(abetment), wanton vilifiation upon a community (153A) and intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace (504).
