December 2, 2020: Bollywood actor and BJP's Gurdaspur MP Sunny Deol has tested positive for coronavirus, the Himachal Pradesh health secretary confirmed on Tuesday.

Actor-turned-politician has been residing in Kullu district for some days, state Health Secretary Amitabh Awasthi said.

The health secretary told news agency PTI that according to information provided by Kullu chief medical officer, Sunny Deol and his friends were planning to leave for Mumbai, however, the BJP MP tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday.

The 64-year-old bollywood actor had undergone a shoulder surgery at Mumbai and was recuperating at a farmhouse near Manali in Kullu district, as reported by PTI.
