September 10, 2020: Actor Akshay Kumar during an Instagram live chat with adventurer and Into the Wild host Bear Grylls and Huma Qureshi to everyone’s utter shock revealed that he ‘drinks cow urine every day’.

During a live Instagram chat with Bear Grylls and Huma Qureshi, Bollywood’s fittest actor Akshay Kumar revealed that he had cow urine every day for some ayurvedic reasons.

It was when Huma asked them about the “elephant poo tea” that they were seen drinking in the show’s promo, the actor revealed that it really wasn’t a big deal for him as he drinks cow urine every day for Ayurvedic reasons. This revelation seems to have stunned fans.

When Huma asked Grylls, how he managed to convince Akshay for having the poop tea, the latter said that it just happened and the experience wasn’t too bad.

 “I don’t know how we ended up doing that but it wasn’t too bad, was it?,” said Grylls.

Sharing his experience of having the poop tea, Akshay said, “I wasn’t worried. I was too excited to be worried. For Ayurvedic reasons, I’ve had cow’s urine every day. So, this was okay.”

Grylls acknowledged that even though he did not know Akki personally, he instantly knew he was a “fun guy with no ego”. Impressed with the actor's fitness, Grylls said, “Out of all the guests we have had over the years, he is definitely Tier-1.”

When asked if he was worried about surviving in the wild, Akshay said, "I wasn’t worried. I was too excited to be worried." On working in the future, the host said, “Will be great to do something else with him. Maybe another show.”
