November 29, 2020: Actor Rahul Roy of 1990’s musical hit ‘Aashiqui’ has been admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital. 52-year-old Rahul was shooting for the film ‘LAC’ based on Galvan Valley in ‘Kargil’.



According to reports, the actor was shooting  in Kargil area for his upcoming film ‘LAC – Live the Battle’ when he suffered the brain stroke. Soon he was rushed to a hospital in Srinagar and then to Mumbai. It has been reported that it was due to the harsh weather condition that caused the stroke.

Rahul, who has been in films for three decades, made his Bollywood debut in the 1990 film ‘Aashiqui’ with Anu Aggarwal. He then worked in films like ‘Junoon’ (1992), ‘Phir Teri Kahani Yad Aayi’ (1993), ‘Naseeb’ (1997), ‘Alan’ (2011) and ‘Cabaret’ (2019). He has also been the winner of ‘Bigg Boss’ first season (2007).
