Glaze your party with Chocolate Peppermint Patty Brownies!

Ingredients: 1 and half cups softened butter, 3 cups sugar, 5 eggs, 1 tablespoon vanilla, 2 cups flour, 1 cup baking cocoa, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 package (13 ounces) chocolate covered peppermint patties.Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine dry ingredients, add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Spread about 2/3 of the batter in a greased 9 by 13 inch baking pan. Arrange a layer of peppermint patties on top of the batter. Carefully spread the remaining batter on top.Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the edges begin to pull away from the sides of the pan and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean (top may look uneven).Cool completely before cutting.
