November 20, 2020: The CID of Assam Police arrested one person in connection with the SI Exam paper leak case, taking the tally of total arrested persons to 25.

"In connection with  CID P.S CASE NO. 21/2020 U/S 120B/409 IPC R/W Sec.66B of I.T Act; added Sections 201/204 IPC and 25 (1B) Arms Act .( Question paper leakage case of written Exam. for recruitment of SI of Police)last night CID conducted search in connection with above mentioned case with the help of Changsari Police Station and  apprehended one absconding accused person namely  Jintu Nath of  Vill - Changsari, PS Changsari, Kamrup.

He has been  arrested today in connection with CID PS Case No.21/2020 and is being produced in the honourable court today, " said the CPRO of Assam Police in a statement.
