October 13: Akshay Chand Baidya, one of the accused in the SI Exam paper leak scandal of Assam Police is absconding since police probe into the case began.

However,  DY365 has been able to trace him in a city hospital. Baidya was found admitted at Marwari Hospital in Guwahati on Tuesday morning.

He came for Covid test, but was later hospitalised. According to hospital authorities, he has been admitted due to diabetes. Presently, he is admitted at the Deluxe Cabin 302 of the hospital.

Akshay Telecommunication of Bongaigaon, owned by him, got the contract of printing the SI Exam question papers. Rubul Hazarika, an employee of the firm is already arrested by CID.
