October 14, 2020: Assam Police CID officials on Wednesday has raided the Guwahati residence of Karimganj SP Sanjit Krishna for his alleged involvement in SI recruitment scam.
SP Sanjit Krishna's name came into light when police interrogated Rubul Hazarika, one of the accused in the scam.
According to the reports, the SP was close to Akhsay Chand Baidya, owner of Akshay Telecommunication.
