October 21, 2020: N. F. Railway has announced running of two more pairs of “Festival Special” trains making the total number of such Festival Special Trains being run in N. F. Railway in the current festive season to 11. The two new trains to be run from 24th October to 30th November are -

1.            03175 / 03176 Silchar  – Sealdah special (three days a week – on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from both direction)

2.            03173 / 03174 Agartala – Sealdah special (four days a week – on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from Agartala; and on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday from Sealdah)

Train no 03175 Sealdah – Silchar special will leave Sealdah at 06-35 hrs w.e.f. 24-10-2020 to reach Silchar at 16-15 hrs next day. In the return journey 03176 Silchar – Sealdah special will leave Silchar at 10-45 hrs w.e.f. 26-10-2020 to reach Sealdah at 19-25 hrs next day. The train will run via Rangiya, New Coochbehar, Barsoi, Rampur Hat and Bolpur.

Train no 03173 Sealdah – Agartala special will leave Sealdah at 06-35 hrs on every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday w.e.f. 25-10-2020 to reach Agartala at 20-45 hrs next day. During return journey train 03174 Agartala - Sealdah special will leave Agartala at 05-55 hrs on every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday w.e.f. 27-10-2020 to reach Sealdah next day at 19-25 hrs. The train will run via Rangiya, New Coochbehar, Barsoi, Rampur Hat and Bolpur.

Intending travelers may consult advertisements in newspapers and IRCTC website for details of stoppages and fare etc.

It may be mentioned that Indian Railways has decided to run 196 pairs (392 trains) of “Festival Special” trains from 20th October to 30th November. The trains already announced in NFR portion are:

1.            02517 / 02518 Kolkata – Guwahati- Kolkata special (Tri-weekly)

2.            02505 / 02506 Kamakhya – Anand Vihar-Kamakhya special (daily)

3.            02513 / 02514 Guwahati – Secunderabad-Guwahati special (weekly)

4.            05611 / 05612 Guwahati – Silchar – Guwahati special (Tri-weekly)

5.            02343 / 02344 Sealdah – New Jalpaiguri – Sealdah special (daily)

6.            03141 / 03142 SEaldah – New Alipurduar – Sealdah special (daily)

7.            09601 / 09602 Udaipur – New Jalpaiguri – Udaipur special (weekly)

8.            04011 / 04012 Jogbani  – Anand Vihar – Jogbani special (Bi-weekly)

9.            09601 / 09602 Udaipur – New Jalpaiguri - Udaipur special (weekly)

There will be no unreserved coaches in these trains.
