June 21, 2020: A huge amount of Burmese supari has been seized in Guwahati Railway Station on Sunday.

Reportedly, seven hundred sacks full of Burmese supari were seized from three coaches of Dibrugargh- Guwahati special parcel train. The numbers of train containers are ER-12845, CR-08831, and CR 10826.

It has been suspected that the sacks smuggled from Dimapur, Nagaland.

It may be stated that few days ago, the railway police had seized a huge amount of illegal supari in the same manner.
